According to the law of threefold return, whatever you do will be returned to you three times.
I’m a compulsive pen stealer (although not an evil one, most often I just fail to return the pen to the person from whom I borrowed it) but I never have any pens. So I figured the explanation for my pen deficit must be the karmic law of threefold return.
Read on:
If you steal one pen, three pens will be taken from you.
That means you’ll lose even the pens you buy.
If you give someone else a pen, three pens will be given to you.
If you steal one pen and give this same pen to someone else, three pens will be taken from you and three pens will be given to you, the final balance being zero.
But if you steal one pen, give one pen to person A, person A gives the pen back to you, three pens will be taken from you, three pens will be given to person A and three pens will be given to you. You and person A together have 4 pens – two per person. That assuming you and person A are karmic accomplices.
Makes sense?
